Owner
Laura assumed ownership of Calfayan Construction in 2000. Her main goal was to build the company Reis had developed into the professional business they both yearned to own. She started this journey by listening to the ěcontractor horror storiesî that were never in short supply. She used those stories as a tool to structure her business into one that would de-bunk those industry-destroying horror stories. Her goal was to create their own positive stories of successful projects and happy clients. After years of behind the scenes work in the company Laura developed her own ownership style. Laura defined that role from the numerous conferences & seminars she attended as well as from her hands-on experience in the company. Reis had built a roadmap & Laura took on the challenge of navigating that roadmap. Since 2000 Calfayan Construction has earned a reputation for being a company that fulfills their commitments. One company mantra is that Calfayan Construction does what they say they are going to do when they said they were going to do it. This is a vital standard for a company that performs high-end renovations. Laura has worked diligently to build a portfolio for Calfayan Construction. Calfayan Construction has become a nationally, regionally and locally award-winning company and in 2005 Calfayan Construction earned the honor of being elected one of the top 50 remodeling companies in the country. The prestigious Big 50 Award has been Lauraís motivation to continue to build Calfayan Construction into the role of an industry leader. |
